So tired of authors doing the political thing in their books. Susan Stoker is one of my favorite authors. Don't think I have ever read a bad book by her. I could get past it if it was just one time. But she managed to take about 50 to 60 percent of the book to talk about social and political issues and did not focus on the story. I was looking forward to this new series. I don't think I can move on to the next book if they are all like this. I read to escape and not have an author tell me what I should think. Hopefully this is not an ongoing trend with this Author but if so I will continue to enjoy her older books and read nothing new going forward.
